The Newted Story

Thank you for visiting us at NEWTED SWIMMING ACADEMY has been in existence for the past 8years and we are duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria in 2014 with BN No: 2302584 and we are located at Indoor Swimming Location. No. 22, Ibrahim Haruna Crescent. Utako Region. Abuja - Nigeria. With other Training Center within the Federal Capital Territory. NEWSTED SWIMMING ACADEMY was founded by Coach Baruwa Dolapo Samson the first Nigerian Swimmer to swim a 500-meter Olympic Channel Pool and was certified in 2005/2007. The company has grown from doing just one or two lessons per week to teaching an average of 200 children and adults every week from complete beginners through to fitness swimmers, triathletes and even members of the Newted Team! Small classes combined with innovative teaching techniques and the highest quality teachers & coaches is why we get such fast results in our students.

Newted Swimming Academy is a swimming school for the young and old, our purpose is to end the silent epidemic of child’s drowning and to create the future champions in the Africa aquatic world.

Newted Swimming Academy continue to grow every week as our methods, results and services are refined and improved. We have now successfully franchised our company in year 2014 into other areas of the Nigeria and are very much looking forward to launching our methods and brand into other parts of the country in 2018 and 2020.
